I bought this tonight and played for about half an hour, enough to explore a handful of rooms and find one of the bosses. Just don't underestimate the maids, those bitches hit like a truck no matter how strong you get. If anybody ever wanted to see bloodborne in a 2d-ish retro style, I highly recommend this, it's brutal but so far it's very good. The downside (if it can be called that) is that this game is HARD as balls, it really forces you to think tactically, you have limited bullets, limited healing items (3 to start with and enemies tbat can shave away your whole health bar in one combo) and it even has an insanity mechanic where the more you increase your health, the more crazy you become and the more powerful and unfair enemy waves become. Having played it for three hours i can't get enough of it, it's simple, yet addictive as hell. Shrouded in sanity has an aesthetic eerily similar to castlevania, and overall feels like a semi-mashup of castlevania (in terms of aesthetics) final fight (in terms of the 2d plane) and bloodborne (in terms of everything else) Thank you, sohlol, for allowing us to display your artwork on our subreddit! r/huntersbell /r/bloodbornesliders /r/demonssouls /r/darksouls /r/darksouls2 /r/darksouls3 If you feel you are not seeing certain posts, you may need to enable viewing of NSFW content in your Reddit preferences.
